Private Residence – Columbia, PA : Additions & Renovations

Description:
The client owned a charming home on top of a wooded hill in Lancaster. The existing home had a small wooded cottage feel that the owner did not wish to disrupt from the front, but they needed more space for their growing family. They approached Lewis & Associates to study the feasibility of adding a two-story addition off of the back the house that would house a new gourmet kitchen on the first floor and a master bedroom suite above with views to the woods. The addition had to be designed to complement the existing architecture, while capturing the essence of their unique way of life.
