Hands-on-House: New Playground

6,200 sq. ft. of playground structures, paths, apparatuses.

Description: Hands-on House, a museum for children, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids learn and providing environments that help make learning enjoyable. The museum is designed for children ages 2-10. Lewis & Associates Architects was hired to create an outdoor playground that kids would play within and educate themselves using their curiosity. Various shapes, colors, and textures were used to encourage experiences that required all types of motion and skills. Play time is a fun learning experience. The playground is handicap accessible.
